“The Word”

(Deuteronomy 6:4-5) (4)
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
(5)
and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy
soul, and with all thy might.

 A
pleasant greeting to the
SAINTS OF
GOD
. We the Directors for “MESSAGE
OF THE SWORD MINISTRIES”
bring you GLAD TIDINGS in the name of our LORD and SAVIOUR
JESUS
CHRIST.  Today we continue with our “Devotions with
Bro. Lendor”. The topic today is entitled
“The
Word”.

Have
you ever asked “if the word of God can be trusted,” is it real, is it an emotional
placebo for the weak minded grasping for straws to evade negative realities?

Perhaps,
individuals who are trying to make amends for past painful mistakes and now
masked as emotional fervor that can be used to guard against dire consequences.
There are others who may perceive the Bible as a moral compass with archaic
traditional conservative values; a guidebook that is so lofty in its
sentiments, most proponents don’t even live what they appear to preach and
know. Others define it as a hybrid of judgement, motivation, supernatural
epics, which require exclusive faith despite apparent contradictions. This book
(the Bible) does not consider the moral, eclectic, noteworthy contributions of
immense religiosity that exists outside of the Biblical frame of reference.

Yet
still, there are many who had an experience with Jehovah and broke covenant.
They walked away for various reasons sometimes with sadness in their hearts and
are now contented to live life on their own terms and conditions. They are
aware of the consequences and with each moment, second, minute, hour, day,
week, month and year Jesus Christ/The Word becomes ethereal. The alternative
choice becomes their intimate acquaintance, the anti-bible stance their
intellectual sparring partner. Salvation is now within (themselves) and God
(without) is despised and the heart that once beat for God responds to a new
rhythm. They count themselves as no longer included amongst the people of God
and have no sincere desire to return.

How
about those who called unto God in times of pain and distress, emergency,
extreme need and God did not apparently answer. God was silent and in their
opinion his silence is the cause of their new perspective.

I
have some thoughts for consideration; the LORD ADONAI is Sovereign Creator-

Psalm
33:6-9. 6. By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them
by the breath of his mouth. 7. He gathereth the waters of the sea together as
an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses. 8. Let all the earth fear the
LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. 9. For he
spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

John 1:1-4.
1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God. 2. The same was in the beginning with God. 3. All things were
made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4. In him
was life; and the life was the light of men.

Elohim is Provider and sustains life in his creatures that he has
created and his word is used to combat the enemy.

Isaiah chapter 41:17-18.  17. When
the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for
thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
18. I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the
valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs
of water.

Hebrews 4:12. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper
than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and
spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and
intents of the heart.

Jeremiah 23:29. Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like
a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

Matthew 4:4. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out
of the mouth of God.

El Shaddai’s word can be trusted. Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is
pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Psalms 12:6. The
words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth,
purified seven times.

Psalms 119:89. LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

Remember Folks the Bible is God’s voice speaking to us, just as surely
as though we could hear it with our ears. If we realized this, with what awe
would we open God’s word, and with what earnestness would we search its
precepts! The reading and contemplation of the Scriptures would be regarded as
an audience with the Infinite One.

The scribes of God wrote as they were dictated by the Holy Ghost, having
no control of the work themselves. They penned for literal truth, and stern,
forbidding facts are revealed for reasons that our finite minds cannot fully
comprehend.

Respectfully Yours.

Your Brother in Service and in Christ,

Angelo Lendor,
